A Parent’s Guide to Your Child’s Wedding

Watching your child get married is one of life’s biggest milestones, and we know how important this day is to you.

Our Team Is Here Every Step of the Way

Planning a wedding can be exciting, emotional, and sometimes a little overwhelming. Between coordinating schedules, making decisions, and wanting everything to be perfect, it’s easy to have questions along the way.

We’ve created this page specifically for parents to help answer common questions, simplify the planning process, and give you peace of mind. Our goal is for you to spend less time worrying about the details and more time enjoying this incredible season with your family.

Paying For The Wedding

Invoices are typically sent directly to the couple. If you will be making payments, they can simply forward the invoice to you, or with their permission, we can send invoices directly to you.

If you’re planning the rehearsal dinner, we’d love to help make that process easy as well. Please complete the Rehearsal Dinner Request Form after the rehearsal has been scheduled.

Wedding Day Concerns

We’ve created a simple Parent Concerns Form where you can share anything that’s important to you before the wedding.

Need Something?

Please don’t hesitate to reach out throughout the planning process. We know this day means the world to your family, and we’re honored you’ve trusted us to be part of it.

Our goal is simple: We want you to enjoy every hug, every laugh, every happy tear, and every moment of your child’s wedding day while we take care of the details.

Mother of the Bride & Mother of the Groom

The wedding day goes by incredibly fast! We recommend arriving dressed (unless you’re getting ready with the bridal party) and ready to enjoy every moment.

You’ll likely be involved in:

  • Family photos before and after the ceremony
  • Helping the bride or groom with any last-minute needs
  • Greeting guests as they arrive
  • Walking down the aisle (if applicable)
  • Special dances and speeches

Most importantly—remember to slow down and enjoy the day. You’ve spent months (or years!) helping make this day possible. Let our team handle the logistics while you celebrate with your family.

Father of the Bride & Father of the Groom

Whether you’re giving a speech, walking your daughter down the aisle, or simply enjoying time with family and friends, this is a day you’ll never forget.

Before the ceremony:

  • Arrive on time and ready for photos.
  • Keep your phone nearby in case the couple or photographer needs you.
  • Relax—we’ll guide you through everything.

Our coordinators will let you know exactly when and where you need to be, so there’s no need to worry about remembering the timeline.

Family Photos

One of the biggest time savers on wedding day is having family members ready for photos immediately following the ceremony.

A few tips:

  • Stay close to the ceremony site after the ceremony.
  • Avoid heading to the bar or parking lot until family photos are complete.
  • Keep young children nearby.
  • Trust the photographer—they have a plan!

The faster family photos are completed, the sooner everyone gets to the cocktail hour and reception.

Toast & Speech Tips

Giving a toast doesn’t have to be stressful.

Some simple tips:

  • Keep it between 2–5 minutes.
  • Speak from the heart.
  • Share a meaningful memory or funny story.
  • Welcome your new son- or daughter-in-law into the family.
  • End with a heartfelt toast to the happy couple.

Don’t worry about being perfect. The most memorable speeches are genuine and heartfelt.
